Accredited by the relevant Government bodies our software offers SAP 2005, SBEM, DSM (Dynamic Simulation Model) and NEAP (Non-Domestic Energy Assessment Procedure) routes for dwelling and non-dwelling compliance and creation of Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and Building Energy Ratings (BERs). In addition, we also offer a web-based Display Energy Certificate (DEC) application.
As IES has also created integrated plug-ins to Google SketchUp™ and Autodesk® Revit®, users can uniquely undertake these compliance calculations directly from a SketchUp or Revit model if desired
Plus, as all <VE Compliance> modules share the same central 3D data model, comparison of the same building by different UK compliance methods is incredibly easy. The central data model can also be shared with other more general IES environmental performance analysis tools so you can compare and contrast how meeting compliance criteria actually affects the building’s performance.
Training, examinations and links with leading Accreditation Schemes in the different regions mean that it is easy for our users to prove software competency and become Accredited Energy Assessors/Certifiers. Once accredited with a scheme users can automatically lodge certificates on the relevant national register via our software.
