Level 5 Energy Assessor Pack
Our Level 5 Energy Assessor pack incorporates all you need to apply to one of our Accreditation Scheme Partners to become a Level 5 Non-Domestic Energy Assessor.
Software Maintenance and Support
An annual stand alone licence for the following VE-Pro modules is included:
-ModelIT (3D building modelling tool)
-ApacheSim (advanced, dynamic thermal simulation tool)
-VE-DSM (accredited dynamic simulation tool)
Full access to our extensive technical support is included in the pack price.
Training & Accreditation
1 seat on the following live e-training sessions is included:
-ModelIT (2 sessions)
-ApacheSim (2 sessions)
-VE-DSM or VE-DSM Scotland (1 session)
The Level 5 IES <VE-DSM Accreditation> or Scotland <VE Accreditation> exam is included in the pack. Users must pass the exam in order to become a non-domestic (DSM) Energy Assessor/Certifier and present the certificate* to their chosen Accreditation Scheme. IES has created specific links with the leading schemes and you can choose from BRE, CIBSE Certification, ecmk Quidos, Sterling and Stroma Accreditation.
*Accreditation certificate is valid for 3 years, exam must be taken again once expired.1 seat on the following live e-training sessions is included:
CIBSE Weather Files
One CIBSE Weather File is included in the pack price. You can choose one file from the 14 available data sets. Click here to learn more.
Costs
Year 1: £1700 plus VAT – a saving of £850 from the standard list prices!
Year 2 & subsequent years: £900 plus VAT per annum
We also offer the option to pay in quarterly instalments of £500 plus VAT per quarter in Year 1 and £250 per quarter in Year 2 and subsequent years.
Optional add-ons
You can tailor your Level 5 Energy Assessor Pack to suit your requirements. IES can include face-to-face training, Level 3 & 4 accreditation exams and additional VE-Pro software modules enabling you to use your model for assessing solar shading, summertime temperatures and sustainable design as well as compliance.

VE-DSM Software Only Packs
There are two different software only packs; Standard and Enhanced.
The Enhanced pack offers the added flexibility and accuracy of being able to assess solar shading and natural ventilation as it incorporates solar and bulk airflow analysis into the dynamic thermal simulation.
You will also need to purchase or already have the relevant CIBSE Weather Files for your region.
