FlucsPro enables you to perform lighting design calculations or lighting analysis on any room in a <VE> 3D building model − quickly and easily. You can access a database of luminaires and specify required lighting conditions in the room. Calculated luminaires will be placed in the room, which can also be used with the RadianceIES software for full 3D lighting simulations.
What FlucsPro does:
FlucsPro performs lighting design calculations to determine the number of luminaires required in a room. It also performs analysis calculations on a defined luminaire layout to give you light level values. Analyses can be performed for daylight, electric light or a combination of the two.
With FlucsPro you can:
- perform lumen and glare design calculations for a room in the <VE> model, to calculate the number of fittings required.
- perform point-by-point lighting analyses for a calculated or user-defined luminaire layout, to give light level values within a room
- produce light level plots on the working plane and other surfaces, and see the plots directly within the room in the <VE> model
- access a database of lamps and luminaires (the database can be edited using the LightPro module).
