IES is currently looking for computer science students keen to gain work experience with a world leading software company. The role is fully paid and runs for a minimum of 12 weeks during June to September. The position is full time, working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This is a great opportunity to experience working within a busy and supportive team in an organisation which is at the cutting edge of software development.
You will work within our software team who are developing code for advanced physical simulation and visual analyses of lighting, power consumption and carbon emissions. Candidates will also be able to participate in a number of exciting projects.
As an intern in our Development team you’ll be assigned a mentor who will introduce you to our code, software and coding standards. You will have the opportunity to participate in a number of exciting projects including, improving, testing and maintaining our current software and bug fixing. You will participate in peer reviews which will enable you to learn from experienced developers.
