Free Building Performance Modeling Lunch Seminar in Honolulu
March 30th, 2015
12th March 2015
We are delighted to announce that our VE expert, Liam Buckley, will be in Honolulu and will host an AIA approved, 1 LU, lunch seminar on Monday, March 30th! We will focus on Daylight, Airflow and Energy Analysis with Building Performance.
What will the sessions cover?
This session will cover the major LEED® credits specific to ‘Building Performance Modeling’ and discuss how software can be used to achieve such heavily-weighted and analytical-intensive credits. Major areas of focus will include:
> LEEDv4’s Integrative Process
> Optimize Energy Performance
> Daylight & Views
> Thermal Comfort of Occupants
> Green Power
As per State code, the performance of building energy is already mandated under IECC (2009) or ASHRAE 90.1 Standards. This session will look at how LEED’s (version 4) Optimize Energy Performance relates to Hawaii’s latest standards, and beyond to actual building performance. Specific areas of high-performance modeling will include natural ventilation simulation, energy modeling and daylight analysis.
