IBPSA-BC presents: Building Performance Modeling for LEEDv4

We are pleased to announce that two IES experts will be presenting at IBPSA-BC presents: Building Performance Modeling for LEEDv4, which will take place on June 1st, in advance of this year’s CaGBC’s annual event: Building Lasting Change, in Vancouver from June 2nd-4th. Maintaining the LEED theme, presenters Liam Buckley and Chris Flood, will co-present on some of the new Building Performance Modeling Requirements associated to LEEDv4.
What will the presentations cover?
Particular building performance areas of focus will include:
> Integrative Process (IP) Credit for LEEDv4
>> Reduce energy loads by “Questioning default assumptions”
>> Perform “Simple box” energy analysis before Schematic Design
> Optimise Energy Performance (EAp1/EAc1) for LEEDv4
>> ASHRAE 90.1-2010 Appendix G. – what’s new in the 2010 version.
>> ECB Method (Energy Cost Budget) 2010 locally in British Columbia
> Other LEEDv4 Analytics
>> Daylight Autonomy (EQ)
>> Water Efficiency (SS)
>> Thermal Comfort (EQ)
>> Other (LT, etc.)
> Discussion and Q&A

Instructions: Taking the main entrance facing Homer Street, which will be accessible from 5:30 to 6:00 pm (half an hour window), approach the Atrium and take the stairs down to the basement meeting area (specific instruction for handicapped attendees who may take the lift down to the area if necessary).
Parking: Limited street parking or public parking lot such as Impark (941 Homer St.) two blocks away.
