Gaia Geothermal Ground Loop Design (GLD) is the leading software suite for designing geothermal heat pump and ground heat exchanger systems, making comprehensive geothermal design easy.
The IES <Virtual Environment> is compatible with GLD software, incorporating the detailed thermal performance capabilities of IES building analysis with the advanced horizontal, vertical, surface water and hybrid heat exchanger sizing capabilities of GLD.
Transfer hourly loads data calculated using IES’s whole-building dynamic thermal engine Apache into Gaia Geothermal’s leading Ground Loop Design (GLD) software.
Complete Financial Evaluation
Enables geothermal HVAC designers/engineers to easily size equipment, determine the appropriate lengths of bore/pipe required, optimize the piping layout to minimize circulation pump requirements, and calculate the annual and lifetime energy/operating/emissions costs associated with the design. GLD enables designers to quickly demonstrate how their clients will benefit by "going geothermal".
Easy 3D Model Connectivity
IES interconnectivity with BIM/CAD programs ensures 2D/3D models can be easily imported, using gbXML/DXF capabilities and plug-ins to Revit® and SketchUp™. Models can also be created from scratch within the IES ModelIT application.
