Course: VE-SBEM

In VE-SBEM training you will be shown how to use IES's VE-SBEM tool to prepare construction, building and system data and to perform compliance checks for non-dwellings using the SBEM method. This course covers the requirements for England & Wales and N. Ireland as standard, Scottish elements can be added on request.

Please note ModelIT or SketchUp into IES are prerequisites for this course.

Learning Outcomes

  • On completion of this training course you will know how to perform compliance checks for carbon dioxide emissions and to view the results and compliance documents.
  • You will also be shown how to generate EPCs (Energy Performance Certificates) for the building using the SBEM method.
