IES are currently looking for a business development manager to focus on growing new and existing relationships across the Academic Sector in the UK at what is an exciting time of growth for the business.
You will be responsible for nuturing existing, and creating new, relationships with Universities and Colleges across the UK. You’ll support and develop their needs with our unique technology and services offering across Teaching, Research & the Estate Team. Following a period of training and mentoring, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop the role and to reap rewards for their hard work.
The Candidate
You may already have an existing network within tertiary education across, Teaching, Research or maybe Estate management.
Essential Skills:
- Outstanding influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Professional presentation skills.
- A proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
- Ability to develop leads and win sustainable business.
- Construction industry experience and knowledge.
- Knowledge of building simulation and sustainable building design.
Desirable skills:
- Knowledge of the IESVE software.
- Experience of the Academic Sector
- Background in Sustainability
- This position will require regular travel throughout UK.
