The Opportunity

Are you someone looking to play their part in achieving net zero across the built environment?

IES are currently looking for a business development manager at an exciting time of growth for the business.

You will be responsible for developing the business in the UK whilst forming and building relationships with our clients, supporting and developing their business with our unique technology and services offering. Following a period of training and mentoring, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop the role and to reap rewards for their hard work. 

The Candidate 

You may already have a proven track record of developing new business in a technical discipline. Alternatively, you may have been working as a technical consultant and wish to develop your career in a more sales-oriented position.

Essential Skills: 

  • Outstanding influencing and relationship-building skills 
  • Professional presentation skills
  • A proactive attitude and ability to work independently
  • Ability to develop leads and win sustainable business
  • Construction industry experience and knowledge 
  • Knowledge of building simulation and sustainable building design. 

Desirable skills:

  • Knowledge of the IESVE software.

This position will require regular travel throughout UK.
