IES’ two year Graduate Scheme provides a launchpad to kick-start a great career with a dynamic company in an exciting and supportive working environment. Our structured programmes will enable you to enhance your knowledge, build on your skills and gain real-world experience alongside some of the brightest minds in our industry. As well as be part of our incredibly important mission to decarbonise every building of every city in the world using our best-in-class technology.

By joining our Graduate Scheme you will play a vital role in the climate fight, helping to create a built environment that is resource and energy efficient to eliminate global reliance on fossil fuels while promoting comfort, health and wellbeing, and fairer access to energy for every citizen in the world.
Growth – Every project you are involved in and role you take on during the programme will be an opportunity to learn and grow. You’ll work with, and be supported by, experienced colleagues along the way. Plus, you’ll have access to a range traning mechanisms, from internal workshops to fully funded CPD-certified courses, which will help you along the way.
Opportunity to Specialise – There are various opportunities are available to gain experience in product innovation, data science & programming, customer support and business development to allow you to discover your potential areas of expertise.
Progression – On-going support and guidance will provide you the chance to become professionally accredited increasing your opportunities to progress within the company.
Networking – Throughout your professional and personal progression you will work and collaborate with industry specialists, clients and peers building your known connections throughout the building services sector.
Graduates will be based in our Glasgow or Dublin office (or other UK/Ireland remote locations by arrangement).
During the programme, graduates will be given the opportunity to travel and work from our international offices.

The experience has been great! It has been a learning curve with lots of projects in-between, and I work with really genuine individuals who do really care about you. I am glad to have taken part in so many projects within such a short time and I hope to continue contributing while learning and developing skills to help make the planet better.
