IES Internship Programme

IES’ Internship Programme provides an opportunity for undergraduates entering their third or final year of study to gain industry experience with a dynamic company in an exciting and supportive working environment. Our structured programme will enable you to enhance your knowledge, build on your skills and gain real-world experience alongside some of the brightest minds in our industry. As well as be part of our incredibly important mission to decarbonise every building of every city in the world using our best-in-class technology.

3 months fully paid placement running from June - September

By joining our Internship Programme you will play a vital role in the climate fight, helping to create a built environment that is resource and energy efficient to eliminate global reliance on fossil fuels while promoting comfort, health and wellbeing, and fairer access to energy for every citizen in the world.

You’ll work with, and be supported by, experienced colleagues along the way. Plus, you’ll have access to IES' professional development programme, which will help you during the internship and in the future.

Networking – You will work and collaborate with industry specialists, clients and peers building your known connections throughout the building services sector.  

Where can you work?

Interns will be based in our Glasgow or Dublin office with hybrid and flexible working options available.
