IES ha joined forces with SSE Energy Solutions as Digital Twin Partner to pave the way to a decarbonised built environment. The partnership enables SSE to model and demonstrate energy use and various engineering options to its clients. Providing cost effective and efficient decision-making tools for decarbonising the built environment and identifying how best to meet energy demand using renewable sources, as well as the ability to visualise, control, optimise, generate and trade energy flexibly.
In a bid to decarbonise the built environment, IES digital twin technology is helping iconic buildings meet their zero carbon targets.
Find out more in this Vision 2045 film, featuring interviews with experts from IES, SSE Energy Solutions, Glasgow University and NTU Singapore.
To bring greater awareness of sustainability challenges in the built environment, IES has developed a cityscape Digital Twin which integrates with SSE’s augmented reality platform to demonstrate potential energy usage and savings, data flow, grid strengths and weaknesses, energy flow and net-zero priorities.
