As part of IES's global partnership program, IES is delighted to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Optimulate Pte Ltd.
Optimulate builds on 12 years of experience in applied scientific research with application in:
• Energy systems (design and control of electrical, thermal and hybrid energy systems),
• Indoor climate optimization (three dimensional monitoring and control of temperature and airflow),
• Electric mobility (optimization of large scale fleet electrification strategy).
The signed Memorandum between the two companies facilitates collaboration in three areas; the first is technology demonstrations of iSCAN and IES’s Ci2 process in the Asia Pacific Region with a key focus in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia. Optimulate can jointly work with IES by helping with business development as well as execution of such projects.
The second area of collaboration is project-based support; IES’s global expertise and experience will help in supporting Optimulate in Energy Optimization, Certification projects and any other service venture that Optimulate has in the Asia Pacific region.
The last area is the exploration of joint product development, IES and Optimulate will investigate the potential of leveraging each other’s strengths to co-develop solutions for the region.
Paul Booij is the founder and Managing Director of Optimulate Pte. Ltd. Born in the Netherlands, Paul studied Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology and obtained his MSc with honours in systems & control. Paul worked for renowned research institute TNO for almost 11 years, including 4 years as Lead Scientist Smart Cities in Singapore. Paul feels that the partnership will be a key step in growing the presence and delivery of Optimulate as a leading solution provider in the ASEAN region.
