We are delighted to announce the winners of our annual VE User of the Year Awards for 2024. These awards seek to find the most innovative use of the VE on a project, either commercial or academic, and we were delighted to receive some brilliant entries.
Our judges had some tough decisions to make, however after much deliberation they have selected our VE User of the Year Global & Academic Winners alongside several regional prize winners.

Best Asian Entry - Anil Jaswani - Design2Occupancy - Ranin Ratnavati Gils' School, Jaisalmer, India
Special congratulations to Juraj Rusnak and Thomas McGovern from MACE Energy Group, our Global Winners, crowned VE User of the Year for 2024. The winning entry was an office retrofit project - Manchester Anchorage. The MACE duo developed a proof of concept for an innovative methodology integrating IESVE Compliance modelling with the CRREM decarbonisation tool. The project highlights the value of advanced modelling and automation to address industry challenges.
We’d like to thank all who submitted entries to the 2024 awards and offer congratulations to all of our prize winners. The competition was extremely high and showcased a variety of innovative ways in which the VE was used across several projects.
