The Sustainable Built Environment (SBE) conference series aims to disseminate innovative policies and developments in the field of sustainable urban environment to a broad international audience of specialists in policy, design, construction and operation of buildings and related infrastructure. Its national and international conferences place a core emphasis on peer-reviewed papers, presentations of regional policy papers, displays of pre-evaluated projects and a small number of high-quality commercial exhibits.
In October, we were delighted to see the IES R&D team represented at the regional SBE19-Thessaloniki “Sustainability in the built environment for climate change mitigation” event, where Senior R&D Consultant, Adalberto Guerra Cabrera, presented a paper entitled: “Comparative study of measurement and verification (M&V) baseline models for quantifying energy savings in building renovations.”
The paper was co-authored together with IES Senior R&D Consultant, Dimitris Ntimos, as part of their involvement in the EU Horizon 2020 funded SunHorizon project.
