As IES continues to expand its global impact and streamline its customer experience, we’re excited to welcome Dominique Ede as our new Global Director of Revenue Operations. In this interview, Dominique shares insights into her new role, her career journey, and how Revenue Operations will play a key role in aligning teams and driving future growth at IES.
What does your new role at IES entail?
I joined IES to build out the Revenue Operations function, which means looking at what we do, how we do it and how we make things work more efficiently in the revenue teams to better serve our customers and prospective customers.
This focusses on aligning the sales, marketing and customer success teams to drive growth at IES.
Tell us a bit about your background and experience?
I’ve always worked in operational roles, specialising in Revenue Operations around 10 years ago. I started out in Sales Operations which has given me a strong foundation in go-to-market execution whilst maintaining a customer centric focus.
I’ve built and grown a few global RevOps teams since in growing businesses, where the pace of change was always exciting while focussing on creating structure amongst chaos with process, people, tech and data analysis.
I have a passion for making things work better and placing technology at the forefront of what we do.
How does your role fit with the current IES Business Strategy and how do you see it evolving in the future?
Bringing a RevOps structure to IES will really leverage what we do. The business has grown in strength year on year and adding Revops to the mix will hopefully elevate that by contributing a deeper level of analysis, drilling into what we do and understanding our customer journey while removing siloes between teams.
Anything else you’d like to share?
I’m now 3 months in with IES and so far it’s been a great experience with a great bunch of people. The technology is fascinating and everyone at the company really believes in the company’s mission.
