Installation & requesting your free trial

• Download the Installer and follow the Setup Wizard
• Once installation is complete launch IESVE
• The software will start in basic viewer mode as you do not yet have a licence
• Continue to the main application, choose 'Help Menu > Request Licence Keys'
• Complete the form and provide your company details and email address. Leave the Activation Code field blank and choose 'Action: Request Free Trial'
• Click on the 'Send Request' button
• Your details will be checked on our server, if the request is approved you will receive an email immediately with your activation code. Otherwise it can take up to one business day for our team check your application and manually approve the request
• Once you have the activation code you can enter it on the form via 'Help > Request Licence Keys', once you have entered the Activation Code choose 'Action: Activate Free Trial'
• Click 'Send Request', the software will confirm the code is approved and then continue to generate the key on your machine. You will now have 30 days access to the entire IESVE application during your trial

Uninstalling or moving our software

Please refer to our Knowledge Base for guidance on uninstalling or moving the IESVE software once keys have been activated.

Running multiple versions

Multiple versions of our major releases (e.g. VE 2021, 2019 & 2018) can be installed alongside each other. Therefore you do not need to uninstall previous versions if you so wish. However, project files will be automatically upgraded if opened in a newer version.

Like many computer programs, IESVE requires certain hardware and software specifications in order to install and run. These are basic requirements, though you may want to use our recommended suggestions to improve performance.

The following list of requirements and recommendations apply to the current version.

• Windows 10
• Windows installations on Mac OS via:
  • VMware Fusion
  • Parallels Desktop
  • Boot Camp

Note: IESVE will run on 64bit versions of Windows, but it will run as a 32bit application. Our Radiance, Microflo and SunCast applications support multithreading.

Software Required

• Microsoft® Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher
• .NET Framework 2.0 from Microsoft

Minimum Hardware

• 1152 x 864 screen resolution
• Dedicated OpenGL-compliant graphics card
• 2Ghz+ Intel Pentium / AMD Athlon CPU
• 2Gb RAM

Recommended Hardware (for large projects)

• 1280 x 960 screen resolution
• 256Mb OpenGL v2.1 compliant graphics card
• Dual core CPU (Intel Core 2, or AMD x2 series)
• 4Gb RAM

Unsupported Environments

• Linux

Our free interoperability applications are included in the IESVE Applications Suite installation.

Windows installations of the following are needed to use these plug-ins:

• SketchUp 7.0 or higher
• SketchUp Pro 7.0 or higher
• Revit Architecture 2008 or higher
• Revit MEP 2008 or higher
• Trelligence Affinity 6

Plug-ins for SketchUp and Revit are automatically installed when host software is present.

Title 24 application approved for use with CBECC v3c.
