Harvesting solar energy with multi-functional glass-polymer windows
Project Summary
The HarWin project developed new materials to enable the extension of window functionality beyond the current European State of Art. These materials will significantly improve the energy efficiency and functionality of both windows and buildings, by decreasing thermal conduction, regulating humidity and enabling sound control, while improving building construction and aesthetics.
