IES Consulting provided ASHRAE 90.1 PRM energy modelling for LEED on this high profile London financial development.
5 Broadgate was designed by Make Architects to be the new home of a Swiss financial services company from 2016. The building located within City of London comprises of over 700,000 sq.ft new space and delivers state-of-the-art trading facilities for clients and staff.
As part of this regeneration of Broadgate, IES Consulting were sought to carry out Core & Shell energy modelling for LEED EAp2 and EAC1 . IES modelled the development through the ASHRAE 90.1-2007 PRM route with the final assessment demonstrating a 13% improvement against the baseline. The simulation included the contribution from a solar DHW system and a photovoltaic array. Overall the model confirmed the pre-requisite and 3 credits into the LEED assessment.
