IESVE Partnership with INDALO®

IES has partnered with Octopus Lab to integrate INDALO®, an advanced indoor air quality (IAQ) simulation tool, into the Virtual Environment (VE) software. The INDALO® navigator helps designers optimise ventilation and material choices to meet IAQ regulations and certifications. The navigator ensures a smooth workflow by exporting data directly from the VE, including geometry, airflow, and occupancy.

The INDALO® Navigator for Indoor Air Quality

The dedicated VE Navigator responds to the growing emphasis placed on indoor air quality by voluntary green rating systems such as WELL, BREEAM, LEED, HQE, as well as local building codes.

Users can simulate the concentration of over a thousand pollutants, considering various parameters such as emissions from materials and furniture, ventilation strategy, outdoor pollution, occupancy and planned activities.
