Monodraught Cool-Phase

Cool-phase is a low energy cooling and ventilation system that creates a thermally comfortable, fresh and healthy indoor environment whilst reducing the energy consumption and running costs of buildings.

  • Apply Cool-phase systems to your model directly from the Performance Components Library
  • Assess the performance and energy savings on your building model
  • Test different Cool-phase systems and look at respective efficiencies to choose the best product for your specific building
  • The Cool-phase Navigator provides a step-by-step, streamlined method for applying Cool-phase systems to your building
  • Demonstrate the potential and capabilities of Cool-phase’s low energy cooling and ventilation system

Technical Details

  • The Cool-Phase sytems are part of the Performance Components Library within the Virtual Environment. Performance components help architects and consultants deliver low maintenance, energy efficient designs within the built environment. Pre-built manufacturer assemblies can be imported to the Virtual Environment, providing a mix of geometry and thermal data as per manufacturer specification.

  • Using the VE Navigator for Monodraught Cool-Phase, components are imported to rooms and the pre configured Cool-Phase system is automatically created in ApacheHVAC with the room assigned.

  • There are three main options available to the user for Monodraught's cool-phase performance components, to suit the type of installation that would be required – Facia, Suspended Ceiling and Exposed Void.

User Guide

The Cool-phase User Guide provides a step-by-step guide to modelling with Cool-phase Components, from navigating the new performance catalogue, through to the import process for the placement of the components within a building model and assigning the appropriate ApacheHVAC profiles.
