Wrong Email or User Info on VE Account Page

After signing into VE (2024) the Account Page is showing a different email address and name from the account I logged in with

VE 2024 onwards has a requirement to sign into VE using the email address and password as registered on www.iesve.com. After sign in the Account page is displayed and will show different information depending on the licence setup:

1. If the User has access to a licence via a subscription on IES My Licensing Portal then their own Name and Email are shown along with the details of the Subscription currently in use

2. If the User does not yet have a licence via a subscription on the portal then VE will pick up any existing licence they have on the machine which would have been previously generated using an Activation Code. The details shown are those that were entered when the code was activated and no other information is shown on the Account Page

Note: if using a network licence then often it will be the email of an individual in the organisation that has been entered.

 

This can be updated in VE via Help >> Request Licence Keys where a different User Name and Email can be entered (to apply the changes just choose the Refresh action then click send request).
