Adding Blinds in CBDM (UDI, sDA, ASE) — Is It Supported?
You can add blinds as components in ModelIT then activate them in the Components Settings tab in RadianceIES for UDI and ASE simulations. These blinds will be fixed all the time.
sDA simulations take blinds into account automatically and the user can determine when to lower or raise them using lux threshold in the results post-processing window in the Dynamic Results tab. Two sets of simulations will be done for each window group; with and without blinds. So, make sure to enter two sets of transmissivities for the glazing used in your model: for glazing only, and for glazing with blinds.
