ApacheSim DSM Fails; BRUKL Missing — Negative Electricity
When any Compliance simulation fails or the BRUKL document is not generated you should always check the error log (project_brukl.err file) to find the cause of the problem.
If the error log shows a negative electricity energy usage and this is flagged as a keyword out of range (example below) then you can resolve this by unticking the 'Apply PRM Energy use convention' checkbox in the Fuels Data dialog. This can not be accessed from VE Compliance, you have to change to Apache to do this then return to VE Compliance and re-run the full Compliance simulation.
(Keyword out of range): KWH/M2-SUPELEC = -43.183

Typically this option will be ticked automatically if Prototype data has been imported to the model via the Prototype system sizing or ASHRAE 90.1 PRM Navigators. This issue will be corrected in a future update of VE but in the meantime untick this option to resolve.
