How to Add More Weather Files to IESVE Installation
Yes, you can add additional FWT and EPW weather files to your Virtual Environment installation. To do this all you have to do is place the weather file in the following location:
Shared Content\Weather
In the vast majority of cases this will be:
C:\Program Files\IES\Shared Content\Weather
If you are unsure where your is installed use Help>Troubleshooting to find Shared Content folder location.
Old Versions:
For Version 5.8 and earlier there was no shared content folder. The location for weather files for these version was \Apps\Apache\.
To find the Apps folder use the menu option Tools>Troubleshooting.
EPW Note:
In version 5.9.0 EPW files have to be placed in: ..\Shared Content\ and NOT the 'Weather' folder. This is only valid for the initial 5.9.0 release.
If in doubt place in both \Shared Content and Shared Content\Weather.
