Can I delete more than one opening at one time?

Yes, and there are many ways to do it:

1- You can select the space you want to remove the openings from >> go down one level >> select the surface with openings >> go down one level again (Openings level) >> drag a selection window over the openings to select them all (or hold Ctrl and click each opening) and then click delete.

2- If you want to remove all doors or windows from a model, you can select the whole building and click Edit glazing, doors and louvers (selected spaces), select the opening type you want removed, go to remove tab, enter the relevant parameters and click Apply.

3- You can also highlight the model then right-click >> Remove openings then select from the available options:

You can also use several key-in commands to delete openings depending on opening type:

1- RMOPEN:

This command deletes all openings equal to or below a certain opening area defined by the user (e.g. 5 m2). Start by an area that suits your model, for example type RMOPEN=5 in the key-in field and press Enter. This will delete any opening (window/door/hole) with an area less than 5 m2. Note: area entered with the key-in command is in m2. If you are using imperial units please make sure to convert values to metric units.

2- RMD, RMDE & RMDI:

These commands delete all doors (both external and internal), external doors or internal doors respectively that have areas equal to or below a certain area defined by the user (e.g. 5 m2). Start by an area that suits your model, for example type RMD=5 in the key-in field and press Enter. All doors (both internal and external) with areas less than 5 m2 will be deleted. In the same manner: RMDE=5 will delete all external doors with areas less than 5 and RMDI=5 will delete all internal doors with areas less than 5. Note: area entered with the key-in command is in m2. If you are using imperial units please make sure to convert values to metric units.

3- RMH, RMHE & RMHI:

These commands delete all holes (both external and internal), external holes or internal holes respectively that have areas equal to or below a certain area defined by the user (e.g. 5 m2). Start by an area that suits your model, for example type RMH=5 in the key-in field and press Enter. All holes (both internal and external) with areas less than 5 m2 will be deleted. In the same manner: RMHE=5 will delete all external holes with areas less than 5 and RMHI=5 will delete all internal holes with areas less than 5. Note: area entered with the key-in command is in m2. If you are using imperial units please make sure to convert values to metric units.
