Can the VE use EnergyPlus (.EPW) weather files?
Yes, the IES VE can read and use Energy Plus EPW weather files in Apache simulations.
The files must be placed in the correct folder of your IES-VE installation directory:
..\Shared Content\Weather
These files can be downloaded from the US Department of Energy's website directly as well as from many other sources, please see IES Support Centre Weather Files page for a set of useful resources
