Are there any sample VE Scripts I can use?
Python Scripts can be run in VE using the VE API. In VE Tools menu >> VEScripts you can open the VEScripts Python Editor where it is possible to write, edit and run scripts.
On the left hand side of the Editor console you will find some sample scripts and utilities that can be viewed and run.
Further sample scripts are given here. These scripts are provided as txt files that can be opened in notepad and copied into the VEScripts console to modify and run (they are working with the VE api as at VE 2021 format). The examples given here cover the following:
- edit_geometry
- get_fresh_air_flow_rate
- get_weather
- ground_temp
- night_purge_ventilation
- rolling_average
- run_loads_sizing_simulation
- run_thermal simulations
- set_heating_setpoint
