Does Notional Construction U-Value Include Thermal Bridging?
Will the notional U-value include thermal bridging if that has been used in the actual building?
The NCM modelling guide notes in paragraph 31 that non-repeating thermal bridge heat losses should be accounted for by adding 10% to the standard area weighted average U-values and applied to both actual and notional constructions.
