How can I access the psychrometric chart in VE?

Psychometric chart icon is added to the VistaPro toolbar (first icon from the right). Once clicked it opens up a psychometric chart window with the properties of air in the selected room or/and node displayed.

When more than one node is selected at the same time, HVAC processes e.g. sensible cooling and heating are displayed. Star icon on the psychometric chart represents inlet points for the process.

Temperature and humidity comfort regions can be displayed on the chart when ‘Comfort: ASHRAE 55’ or ‘Comfort index: IES’ icon on the top of ‘Psychometric chart viewer’ is clicked depending on the preferences.

Comfort region provides an overview of the room location with respect to the applied comfort settings with green being the most comfortable region. The comfort region parameters can be adjusted by clicking on the ‘Comfort settings’ icon which will pop up the ‘Comfort parameters’ window where you can set up the activity level, clothing level etc.

The next icon to the right from the comfort zones display provides a visual overview of a node’s air condition for a given date range.

For each time step it is showing in which state the air spends more time, the red area shows where the air from selected node remains most of the time within specified dates.

You can also view psychometric parameters for all or a group of selected nodes in a tabular form. This option is available after clicking the ‘Data point properties’ icon with an option to copy this data available as well.
