How do I edit a material name?
How to change the name of a material/ construction in the Construction Database(CDB)
Using the tabular CDB introduced at VE 2012 Feature pack 2, material properties (including name) are edited in the Project Materials dialog so that changes can be applied to any/all Constructions that reference the Material.
Once you click on Constructions Database (CDB) you will see the following:
Double click the ID of ‘External Window’ for the below:
Click on Project Materials(bottom left) to show:
Double click on the Description of the Constructions you want to change. Change this then click out of the description box and close, this will then show the following:
Select the ones you want to change then press ‘OK’ and Save the changes:
'OK' the construction and CDB and exit, the glazing will now be changed
