How can I add glazing on a roof surface?
Although the place window tool will not allow placement of glazing arrays on a roof, there are other ways to achieve this in ModelIT.
1. You can use the Edit glazing, doors and Louvres tool to place on surfaces with the Tilt and Azimuth of your roof surfaces. This allows fast assignment e.g. by % of the roof surface area.
2. You can select the room and go down through levels of decomposition to the roof surface then draw or add 100% window in the flat drawing view. See the related video to see an example of this method.
