How can I find out how long a simulation has taken to complete?
In the Radiance sub-folder for each project, there is a file named Radiance.log, which contains a trace of the processes performed by Radiance. This trace is appended at the end of the document i.e. it contains a history of the processes with the latest at the end of the document.
A Radiance simulation consists of 3 processes -oconv, rpict and pfilt. The rpict process is the main time consuming one - the trace itemises the percentage and time for this process.
