How do you calculate peak summertime temperature for a room using Suncast and ApacheSim?

1. In Apache view, make sure that the cooling and heating profiles for the room are Off Continuously (i.e. there is no plant) and save the project.

2. Use SunCast to perform shading calculations (Calculations > Solar Shading for Apache) then exit from SunCast.

3. Run Apache Sim with the SunCast link checked.

4. In Vista, select the room, then select the room variable (e.g. air temp), then use the Synopsis button to see the max of that variable.
