I am drawing brise-soleils on a facade but keep getting space intersects existing space error. What should I do?
Most likley the problem is that the "Adjacency Separation Distance" is set too high (the default value is 0.5m).
Go to the "Settings" option in the ModelIT pull-down menu and select the "Model" item. A window will pop-up which allows you to set this value (I frequently set this to 0.001).
When you have done this go into the Key-in field and type rebuild, this will reset this tolerance in your model.
Setting this value to such a small tolerance means that your model must be tight i.e. zones should touch and vertices match up (which is sometimes a problem when models are imported from DXF).
If you need the model for Radiance then you could create the brise-soleil as components as an alternative method.
