Simulex: Zoom and Scale Floor Plans
In my 3-storey building, I am having trouble importing one of the floors. Even though the dxf file has been cleaned up, Simulex shows a big blank screen.
If you read the Help > Getting Started short help file, you'll see that the zoom functions are found by pressing F5 and F6. There are some other useful pointers there too.
However, I suspect your problem is more to do with the fact that you need to select a different set of units when importing the dxf file in the first place. Some DXF files do not contain data about what units the coordinates are recorded in (inches, feet, metres, millimetres etc.). Therefore, you should try selecting different units when importing the dxf files, by using the drop-list box that appears in the dxf-import dialog.
You can confirm if the scale is right after importing the floor plan, by looking at the metres marks around the edges of the plan.
