Is there a VE Preview Version with Part L 2021 Updates?
The finalised NCM Modelling Guide and SBEM version for Part L 2021 is released on 15th December 2021. IES are now able to continue this development project to add the new regulations options for England DSM and SBEM methods (other UK regions will follow soon after).
The deadline for Compliance to go live with the new regulations is June 15th and as always IES are committed to have a fully validated route for both SBEM and DSM released ahead of this target in a VE 2022 update. At present we don't have any version of the software with the updated building regulations interface to share but if it is possible to do so we will offer as a beta to give indicative results on projects, to register an interest in this please email beta@iesve.com.
We will endeavor to keep this note updated with any changes and will be sending out more information as our software and materials are updated for the new building regulations.
