Can I change the language of the NECB 2017 navigator or the compliance report to French while my machine language is set to English?
Typically, the NECB2017 navigator language and report are based on the machine region and language settings; but an environmental variable is available for users if another language (English or French) is required.
You can change the NECB2017 language or get the compliance report in French without changing the machine language settings from English and vice versa using Environmental Variables. Please follow the steps below to do it:
1- Search Windows for Environment Variables
2- Select Environment Variables
3- Select New user variable, type the following and select OK
It should now be on the list.
4- Relaunch VE, and generate the compliance report.
To get the report in English while your machine language is set to French; go to Environment Variables and double click on the one you just created and change the variable value to en (for English) and restart VE.
