No Part L Weather File in Simulation Using DSM | IESVE FAQs
I want to run a simulation using DSM but I get a message saying there is no Part L weather file, what do I need to do?
Part L weather files need to be purchased from ourselves or CIBSE (who own the data). If you have purchased them then make sure the files are in the Program Files\IES\Shared Content\Weather folder.
If you’ve purchased them (either direct from IES or from CIBSE) then we can send you these files in .fwt format but first we need to see proof of purchase (an invoice or receipt), once we have that we will send the files as soon as possible. If you can’t find proof of purchase and you purchased from CIBSE then get them to contact us directly and we will send the files.
