Error: Mismatch Between Controlled Variable and Module

This error will occur while running system sizing calculation or dynamic simulation linked to an ApacheHVAC network where the controls are not configured according to ApacheHVACs rules

The error message is not fully shown to you when this error occurs. You can view the full text by looking in the apstatus.log file in the project apache subfolder.

e.g. F,

Mismatch between controlled variable (flow ) and module type ( ), node 235/1,

This allows you to go and check what control strategy you have set up at this node in your simulated network. The ApacheHVAC user guide has a table of allowed control variables

and also you can check you have not overspecified the flow rate controls on any branch. There are different reasons this error can occur in your network so knowing the affected node allows you to investigate and resolve

You can find the node by first doing a network check and then use find node.
