Reported Personnel door U-Value is incorrect
I've run a simulation using VE-SBEM but looking at the BRUKL certificate the personnel door U-values are incorrect. Why is this?
If you have any external holes in your model (intentional or not) they will be reported by VE-SBEM as a personnel door with U = 3.08.
Looking at the image above you can see the Personnel door is failing the Criterion 2 check and the Ui-Calc is being reported as 3.08. To find the external hole take a note of the room ID and wall number.
Go to ModelIT and find the room, making sure the ID matches that reported on the certificate.
Select the second wall.
Find the offending external hole and delete it
Note: This is an obvious example. In most cases a hole is seen as external because two surfaces do not match up. In this case you will need to re-draw the space.
