CFD Monitor Lines Drop Vertically After Iterations?
A sudden drop and then a flat line in the residuals is due to the simulation diverging. To avoid this you need to reduce the aspect ratio of the cells in your model by one or more of the following:
1) Adding more cells.
2) Lining up geometry so that the number of grid constraints is reduced.
3) Simplifying the geometry.
