What does “Heating-Rm” and “Heating-Sys” mean in the Appro Database
The two new profiles that are added to the weekly profiles list in ApPro are related to heating and cooling design day calculations in ASHRAE loads. The loads calculation settings traditionally have required you to choose a weekday that will act as the design day in terms of what profile values are read but now the user has the option to specify the full dynamic profiles for the week for simulation and a separate heating and cooling design day profile for rooms and systems which can be selected for the loads analyses to facilitate calculation of the peak loads e.g. for system autosizing.
