Why do I get a different rating on my EPC after upgrading to v6?
For VE v6.0 we implemented some changes in line with directives from CLG which clarify the interpretation of the NCM Modeling Guide and the activities database.
The most significant change is to ventilation profiles in naturally ventilated buildings. These are now fixed at a constant value during the occupied period rather than varying with occupancy.
Changes were also made to the lighting control algorithm to bring it in line with changes introduced in SBEM.These changes are probably responsible for the observed differences in EPC ratings.
