Missing CIBSE Weather Files After VE Upgrade — Why?
Reason
The installation directory has changed and the files have to be moved into this newer directory in order for the to recognise them.
Solution
You need to copy the weather files from your previous installation to the newer one.
Weather File Location: ..\Shared Content\Weather\
Older releases of the VE
- Version 5.8: ..\VE 58\Apps\Apache\
- Earlier: ..\Apps\Apache\
Notes:
* The files will have the extension FWT.
* The file names will be of the format DSY05.fwt (e.g. BirminghamDSY05.fwt).
